How to distill alcohol from fruit. The fruit should ferment within a day or two but be sure to give it a good stir once a day. Next, cover both the sugar and fruit with boiling water and let this cool to around 70 degrees fahrenheit before adding in 1/4 teaspoon of yeast or more depending on how much fruit and sugar you used.
