How a pellet grill works.

How to use a smoker box on a pellet grill. The first thing is the selection of the smoking tube. Then you can cold smoke your favorite cheeses or make cold smoked fish. It burns the sawdust of hardwood that has been compressed into cylindrical small pellets.

Once the box starts smoking, set up the grill for indirect cooking by turning off all burners the food will be over. The tube should not be too much in length. It has by far the most steady temperature in any budget pellet grill i’ve used.
